Extron has announced the introduction of new software that will enable use of mobile devices to control the HC 400 Series meeting space collaboration system.

The new LinkLicense User Interface optional upgrade gives integrators the freedom to choose control interfaces based on customer’s specific needs. It offers a much broader choice of devices for AV system control.

The upgrade applies to the entire system, and extends control capability to all users.

Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall says: “End users often want to control their huddle room AV using personal devices. Upgrading an HC 400 Series collaboration system with LinkLicense is a simple, cost-effective way to let people use their tablet, laptop, or smart phone as the primary control interface.”
