Q-SYS has launched the Q-SYS RoomSuite Collaboration Bar and Q-SYS Scheduling Panel, while also unveiling an integration with Microsoft Places.

The additions are designed to extend the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform across modern workplace environments, supporting collaboration spaces, communal areas and larger presentation environments through a cloud-enabled approach to workplace management.

The Q-SYS RoomSuite Collaboration Bar is a Windows-based device designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments in standardised meeting spaces. The all-in-one system combines AV and room control functions within a single platform and is currently undergoing Microsoft Teams certification.

The collaboration bar features four 50-megapixel cameras, a 16-element microphone array and integrated loudspeakers. It is supplied with a dedicated 10.9” touch screen designed to provide meeting and device control.

The system can also support up to four RoomSuite Table Microphones, allowing expanded audio coverage for larger meeting rooms while providing participants with one-touch mute functionality.

Alongside the collaboration bar, QSC has introduced the Q-SYS Scheduling Panel, a Microsoft Teams-certified room booking solution built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform.

The QSP-11 scheduling panel integrates with Q-SYS systems through Q-SYS Reflect and can be installed outside meeting rooms, on walls or on glass surfaces to provide room availability and booking information.

“Our collaboration with Q-SYS continues to provide customers with more choice of platform for Teams Rooms customers, combining the power of Teams Rooms on Windows with increased deployment simplicity,” Microsoft general manager for Microsoft Teams partner engineering Albert Kooiman says.

“This collective offering strengthens our joint support for the complex needs of high-performance workplaces.”
