MSolutions, distributed by Kordz Australia, will unveil an addition to its MS-DP-ALT Series at InfoComm 2026, an HDMI-enabled single-cable USB-C extension for greater flexibility in meeting rooms and collaborative environments.

Designed for meeting rooms, classrooms and presentation spaces, the MS-DPA-HCP extends DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) signals over a single category cable, enabling the transmission of 4K video, USB data and power through one connection.

The key addition is a switchable HDMI input that automatically alternates between a permanently installed HDMI source and a guest user’s USB-C connected laptop.

“The driving force behind the MS-DPA Series is to provide a true single-cable solution for meeting rooms and modern AV environments,” MSolutions chief technology officer Ariel Marcus says.

“USB-C gives us the ability to transport video, high-speed data and power through one connection, while the different models in the series provide flexibility and backward compatibility for different room requirements.”

The model supports plug-and-play operation without the need for drivers or software and can extend 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video alongside USB data. The system also supports laptop charging of up to 60W from the host unit, maintaining a single-cable user experience.

The MS-DPA-HCP retains the compact enclosure introduced with the second-generation MS-DPA-CP, allowing installation behind displays, under tables and within AV furniture.

“The MS-DPA Series was created to solve the infrastructure challenges that come with extending those signals reliably across a room while maintaining the simplicity users expect,” MSolutions chief executive Eliran Toren says.

“It adds even more flexibility for integrators and end users by supporting both permanent HDMI-based room systems and modern USB-C BYOD workflows in one elegant solution.”
