“The Philips Signage 2000 Series brings signage right back to basics, equipped to support and satisfy simpler integrations that don’t require the bells and whistles of our more premium offerings,” PPDS global product management lead EMEA Andrea Barbuti says.
Powered by Android 14, the displays support native apps, web apps and software installation directly on the unit, eliminating the need for an external media player. They can also be managed remotely via the upgraded Philips Wave platform, allowing AV and IT managers to set power schedules, manage playlists, update firmware and monitor performance with ease.
The Series also includes PPDS’ exclusive FailOver technology, automatically playing backup content in the unlikely event of media player failure. Its modular design allows optional WiFi and Bluetooth upgrades via the CRD22 module, along with Philips ScreenShare for wireless content sharing, combining flexibility with future-proof scalability.
“The Philips Signage 2000 Series is a great opportunity for businesses to upgrade older displays or explore digital signage for the first time, reaping the benefits of a trusted global provider at a budget-friendly price,” Andrea adds.
