Extron has introduced the FOX3 111 Series Fibre Optic Extenders, designed for secure, long-distance transmission of HDMI video with embedded audio.

The extenders use Extron’s all-digital technology to deliver mathematically lossless images up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 over a fibre optic cable, ensuring high-resolution performance for professional AV systems.

“We engineered our latest FOX3 Series fibre optic signal extenders for optimised signal extension with exceptional performance and reliability. The FOX3 111 extenders include Key Minder, EDID Minder, Ethernet monitoring and control, internal test patterns, a USB-C configuration port and support for remote configuration. Their compact, low-profile enclosures allow discreet installation in complex AV setups.

FOX3 111 Series Extenders are fully compatible with Extron FOX3 Matrix Switchers, which are available in standard sizes up to 840×840 and custom designs up to 2,000×2,000 and beyond.
