Jands has been appointed as an exclusive distributor for Meyer Sound across Australia and New Zealand.

Under the agreement, Jands will provide sales, technical support, service and market development for Meyer Sound’s full product portfolio across both territories, supporting customers in live entertainment, performing arts, venues, hospitality and touring applications.

The partnership formalises a relationship that stretches back decades, with Jands tracing its early connection to Meyer Sound through the deployment of MSL-4 loudspeaker systems in a major theatrical production.

“We are incredibly proud to be appointed as the Meyer Sound distributors for Australia and New Zealand, a partnership that continues a relationship spanning decades,” Jands executive chairman Paul Mulholland says.

“Meyer Sound stands out for its innovation, integrity and community focus, values we share. Now formally representing Meyer Sound feels natural and meaningful, and we look forward to supporting our customers and growing the market together.”

Founded in 1979 by John and Helen Meyer, Meyer Sound is known globally for its self-powered loudspeaker systems and active acoustics technologies, with its products widely used across concert touring, theatre and large-scale architectural installations.

“Demand for Meyer Sound across Australia and New Zealand has never been stronger. As the market continues to grow, it’s clear that we need a robust and future-focused distribution partner to ensure we can support our customers at the highest level,” Meyer Sound sales manager APAC Owen Ironside says.

“Jands are an icon of the industry, established internationally as a benchmark for distribution. Our shared commitment to quality, innovation and customer experience makes them an ideal fit for Meyer Sound.”
