In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the concerns it brings to people returning to work, Extron has introduced a new powerful way to control room AV from a mobile phone or personal device.

For instance, there may be times when using your mobile phone or personal device is preferred over a hands-on touch panel experience. This can easily be done by incorporating a QR code on the meeting room touch panel display.

Once connected, users will have full control of their room AV and environmental controls all from a personal device. No matter how many users are working together, all button presses between the touch panel in the room and your personal device are kept in sync.

“Our configuration approach has always made it easy to adapt your AV system to meet new demands without additional investment,” Extron vice president of worldwide sales Casey Hall says.
