Cleerline Technology Group, distributed by Audio Visual Distributors, has expanded its BendSafe fibre optic lineup to include both bulk cable and factory pre-terminated patch cords, broadening the range for commercial and residential technology projects requiring high-performance fibre infrastructure.

The expanded lineup includes standard and custom-length patch cords alongside bulk cable options, giving integrators more flexibility when deploying fibre across dense cable paths, harsh environments and demanding installation conditions.

“BendSafe is now a complete product lineup that will deliver decades of reliable performance on any size project and is easy to terminate with standard tools and connector systems, including both mechanical terminations and fusion spliced terminations.”

Its BendSafe layered hard acrylate construction improves optical strand strength while maintaining the same physical dimensions as traditional bend-insensitive fibre.

The design aims to deliver significantly greater durability, flexibility and impact resistance, particularly in installations where cable routing and bend tolerance are critical.

“Factory-terminated patch cords and custom assemblies save time while enabling installers to deliver seamless connectivity and long-term reliability for any application,” Ryan says.

The BendSafe platform supports both multimode and single-mode configurations and is compatible with standard fibre cable management systems, tools and connector platforms.

BendSafe provides a minimum bend radius of 3mm with a life expectancy exceeding 25 years, alongside improved flex cycle and impact performance compared to conventional bend-insensitive fibre solutions.
