Chowmainsoft has released the Intesis HVAC Gateway driver for ELAN. The previous driver has been reworked as the Intesis HVAC Gateway driver, while existing IntesisBox drivers will continue to operate indefinitely in deployed projects.

Users can pair different combinations of HVAC brands and protocols using the Intesis MAPS configuration tool.

The 700 Series Air gateways are stock-friendly, allowing a single gateway to support multiple brand and protocol combinations. They offer control of multiple indoor units, with licenses available for four to 128 units. Setup is straightforward through the Intesis MAPS tool and the gateways are robust and reliable, developed in collaboration with HVAC manufacturers and certified by major national and international bodies.

The Intesis HVAC Gateway driver for ELAN is compatible with the Universal Gateway for IR-enabled indoor units (INWMPUNI001I000), any 1-to-1 Home Automation gateway and all 700 Series Air gateways when configured for Home Automation.

Key features of the Intesis HVAC Gateway driver include multi-indoor unit control, an auto-learn function that automatically detects the indoor unit’s supported variables such as modes, fan speeds and airflow direction, and full control and feedback of main indoor unit variables, including on/off, mode, fan speed, airflow direction, setpoint, ambient temperature and error monitoring.
