Gryphon Audio Designs has unveiled the Helios, a high-performance preamplifier designed to deliver exceptional sound quality, system versatility and elegant design.

The Helios features dual monaural circuits housed in two rigid, CNC-machined aluminum enclosures with proprietary spikes for optimal resonance control. 4mm tempered glass panels protect a 4.3” touch-control display, while included coasters allow the preamplifier to be safely stacked atop the PSU 5 Dual Mono Power Supply.

The Helios uses a dual JFET single-ended Class A input buffer, providing ultra-transparent, fast and natural sound. A microprocessor-controlled, 85-step relay volume attenuator ensures precise volume adjustment, while dedicated single-ended RCA outputs extend system compatibility.

The Helios supports Home Theatre Bypass, modular expansion with Gryphon’s DAC3 Digital Module and PS3 Phono Module and full gain adjustment and naming for all inputs, allowing tailored integration for AV systems.

Power supply design combines custom toroidal transformers, low-noise regulators, premium capacitors and hand-selected transistors, delivering low-noise, high-fidelity performance.

The Helios introduces a modern interpretation of Gryphon’s nordic noir design, with subtle aesthetic details that highlight its sculptural elegance when stacked atop the PSU 5.
