Bose’s DesignMax range is on display at InfoComm in Orlando this week, with 10 loudspeakers and two subwoofers available as ceiling or surface mounted, as well as with outdoor options.

The models range from 2-inch low-profile models to 8-inch high-SPL compression-driver loudspeakers. Bose EQ and SmartBass can be enabled to deliver enhanced sound while, on select models, the Dispersion Alignment system provides wide and consistent off-axis response.

Installation is easier thanks to the QuickHold mounting mechanisms on each speaker. The surface-mounted models snap in to a QuickHold U-bracket, allowing installers to adjust the pitch and lock the levers without the need for tools. For ceiling-mounted models, installers can simply push the speaker into the ceiling opening where QuickHold mounting arms will spring into place, holding the speaker while the installer works.

The speakers are part of the expanded Bose Business Music Systems portfolio that includes loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP processors, controllers and software products.
