Sonance has appointed Amber Technology as the distributor of the Blaze by Sonance range across Australia and New Zealand. Sonance acquired Blaze Audio in May 2025.

Blaze by Sonance delivers networked audio solutions with advanced DSP, scalable system design and integration capabilities for complex commercial installations. The range complements Sonance loudspeakers, creating a unified ecosystem for projects from corporate spaces to large hospitality venues.

“The addition of Blaze by Sonance amplifiers, loudspeakers and controllers into our portfolio, together with Sonance James Loudspeaker and iPort is an exciting extension of our existing Sonance business,” Amber Technology managing director Peter Amos says.

“This organisation has some significant firepower now in both product and expertise and we are excited to be a part of the future strategic direction.”

Sonance vice president Morten Jorgensen says Amber Technology’s established integrator relationships and technical capability across Australia and New Zealand make it a natural fit for the expanded range.

“Amber Technology has been an exceptional partner for Sonance, and we’re confident it will bring the same expertise and dedication to Blaze by Sonance,” he says.

Amber Technology general manager Nathan Brady says recent investment by Sonance in key personnel and expertise has strengthened its position across commercial, residential and professional audio.
