Kordz Australia has released the Netvio HDMI 2.1b 2×8 Splitter for ultra-high-definition AV distribution across corporate, education, retail, broadcast and residential environments, including next-generation gaming setups.

The splitter supports full HDMI 2.1b at 48Gbps, delivering up to 8K@60Hz, 8K@30Hz and 4K@120Hz. It passes HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG, along with gaming features such as ALLM and VRR. Dual HDMI inputs feed eight outputs, with each output able to independently downscale 8K content to 4K or 1080p and convert HDR to SDR for legacy displays.

“The Netvio 2×8 HDMI Splitter functions more like a combined switcher and splitter, designed for environments that require full 48Gbps HDMI 2.1b support for 8K and high-frame-rate 4K content,” Kordz Australia product manager Josh Yammouni says.

The NV-SP-H2-0208-10 includes optical S/PDIF and balanced and unbalanced analogue audio outputs with gain control, EDID management, auto or manual input switching and a built-in HDMI signal generator to simplify installation and troubleshooting. Control options include front-panel buttons, IR remote, RS-232, USB-C service and API commands for standalone use or full system integration.
