ADT Joins Z-Wave Alliance as newest principal member
The Z-Wave Alliance has announced that ADT, a provider of security, automation and smart home solutions, has joined the Z-Wave Alliance as a new principal member, granting them a seat on the Board of Directors.
As the newest principal member, ADT joins other industry leaders including Alarm.com, Assa Abloy, Leedarson, Ring, Silicon Labs, StratIS and Qolsys in advancing Z-Wave technology.

“As a principal member of the Z-Wave Alliance, ADT will collaborate with other smart home industry innovators to advance standards that create helpful user experiences and are rooted in security and privacy,” ADT senior vice president of product Raya Sevilla says.
“ADT has a longstanding history of contributing to smart home security standards development, and we’re eager to continue that tradition within the newly organized Z-Wave Alliance.”
Z-Wave Alliance executive director Mitch Klein points to the progression of the alliance through member support.
“Through the years, ADT has supported the Z-Wave Alliance and championed Z-Wave technology in the security market,” he says.
“We’re thrilled to have them on board as a Principal Board Member under the new SDO.”
