TP-Link brand Tapo has released its products the Tapo Mini Smart WiFi Plug, Smart WiFi Light Switch and Smart WiFi Dimmer Light Switch, the first Matter-certified switches and plugs bringing convenience to users’ everyday lives offering compatibility with all-certified smart home platforms, smooth LAN control and multi-admin capability.

The Tapo Matter light switches allow users to control their lights from anywhere with the Tapo App and a 2.4GHz WiFi connection. With advanced scheduling and timer features, these switches can automatically turn lights on and off based on users’ preferences, even when they are away from home.

With the added Away Mode, the switches bring an extra layer of security by simulating an at-home presence, deterring potential intruders. Furthermore, voice control support enables users to effortlessly manage connected lights through popular voice assistants like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Samsung SmartThings.

Tapo Smart WiFi Dimmer Light Switch can easily be adjusted with the light’s dimming range from one to 100%, either by sliding a finger on the switch, using the Tapo App or via voice commands. Both Tapo Matter light switches require a neutral wire and feature a guided installation process compatible with standard-sized wall plates.

In addition to the Tapo Matter light switches, TP-Link expanded its Matter-certified lineup with the Tapo Mini Smart WiFi Plug. The Tapo Mini Smart WiFi Plug offers a frustration-free setup experience with detailed in-app instructions and Bluetooth-enabled onboarding. It delivers a streamlined third-party integration solution, bridging the gap between ecosystems and standardising the setup process.

The Tapo Mini Smart WiFi Plug provides scheduling and creates scenes with a wider range of smart devices. Users can control the Tapo Matter plug from anywhere via the Tapo app. Additionally, its Auto-Off Timer supports automatically turning off connected devices when the Tapo Matter plug is left on for a set time.

Matter introduces smooth LAN control, enabling seamless communication between Matter-certified devices within a local area network, even if the home internet is offline. Direct device-to-device communication eliminates reliance on specific forwarding devices or cloud services.
