Swann has been given an Honouree accolade for Best in Smart Home at IFA 2025’s inaugural Innovation Awards for its SwannBuddy4K Video Doorbell with SwannShield AI Voice Assistant.

The awards, judged by an independent panel of global technology journalists and industry experts, spotlight cutting-edge design and engineering across the consumer technology sector. Entrants were evaluated on engineering and functionality, design and aesthetics as well as uniqueness and innovation.

The award recognises SwannShield as the world’s first AI-powered home security voice assistant. Unlike traditional pre-recorded responses, the assistant leverages generative AI to deliver natural, dynamic conversations at the door, adapting in real-time to the situation.

The technology supports more than 100 auto-detected languages and can be customised via the Swann Security app. Users can personalise the assistant with household names, delivery instructions and other preferences, while choosing from eight accents and three demeanours to match the desired tone and personality.

SwannShield is included free within the Swann Security app and is being expanded across the company’s product line, including the newly launched EVO wireless video doorbell.
