Sound United has a range of new AV products with fresh offerings from Marantz and Denon coming onto the market.

Marantz has announced the NR1510 and NR1710 slimline 4K Ultra HD AV receivers, both of which feature 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through, 4:4:4 colour resolution, HDR10 and BT.2020. Both support Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), eARC and ALLM for enhanced picture and audio. They can decode high-resolution audio ALAC, FLAC and WAV lossless files up to 24-bit/192-kHz as well as DCD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks for high resolution listening.

Both models support Alexa, Google Home and Apple Siri; include built-in WiFi and dual subwoofer outputs.

Marantz global brand director Emmanuel Millot says the latest additions to the slim network receiver line demonstrate the company’s ability to blend audio, advanced technology and elegant design.

“We’ve packed plenty of power into both models and included the latest HDMI suite alongside voice control compatibility with industry-leading AI platform. Both of these new models easily meet the needs of most enthusiasts without sacrificing space, and are an ideal option for listeners looking to move away from a sound bar to a product with greater sonic performance and ease-of-use.”

Denon has also announced two new X-Series AV receivers – the X2600H and AVR-X1600H which deliver lifelike, visceral 7.2 surround sound experience.

The new receivers support the latest sound formats including Dolby Atmos Height Virtualisation Technology. It also includes new HDMI features for uncompromised connectivity, voice control, HEOS built-in, and more.

Denon products are distributed in Australia by QualiFi. Ralph Grundl from QualiFi says: “Denon is committed to bringing the latest technologies and best audio quality to home theatre enthusiasts while offering flexibility so they can grow with their home entertainment systems. To that effect, we’ve added the latest Dolby and DTS 3D audio technologies and eARC so customers can up-mix traditional stereo and surround soundtracks to a 3D listening experience or virtualise Dolby Atmos or DTS:X mixes for amazing immersive audio without dedicated height channels.”

Denon has also released a new 11.2-channel AV receiver with dual voice control.

The AVC-X6500H delivers audio quality through eleven 140W channels of amplification. It can be controlled via Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2 with voice commands.

It also features built-in HEOS network technology which facilitates access to internet radio and streaming services. It can also be used as part of a HEOS multiroom system, allowing users to share content throughout the house to other wireless speakers.

This powerhouse supports three-dimensional sound formats Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and Auro-3D for phenomenal home theatre immersion. It also includes full 4K compatibility, Dolby Vision, HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), ARC (Audio Return Channel), and eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel).
