SnapAV introduces MoIP audio
SnapAV has launched the latest addition to Binary Media over IP (MoIP): MoIP Audio in a new transmitter and receiver that enables multi-room audio over the network.
Designed for flexible and scalable audio distribution, the new components create a multi-room audio experience using the same controller and network as a MoIP AV system.

Binary’s media distribution technology gives integrators the ability to quickly and easily build a cutting-edge AV distribution system. Adding MoIP Audio enables multi-room sound distribution through the same system which in turn, allows for the audio to break out from the AV system, distributing premium sound without delay.
Additionally, by incorporating individual transmitters and receivers, MoIP audio works as a completely scalable, customisable and flexible way to distribute multiroom audio in any size project—working both as a point-to-point solution and as a larger audio over IP system.
It also has built-in OvrC, SnapAV’s cloud-based remote management and monitoring platform that allows dealers to install, monitor and troubleshoot connected devices remotely.
“Today’s dealers strive to find the latest and most innovative technology, that’s what helps their business grow,” SnapAV senior category manager Andras Balassy says.
“They also want easy access to these products with service they can count on. With MoIP Audio, dealers get one of the most cutting-edge audio solutions on the market. Plus, it’s easy to install and extremely versatile. And since it’s under the SnapAV umbrella, dealers get the support and service they need, along with exclusive access to the entire Binary MoIP ecosystem for the fastest, simplest and most advanced A/V solution on the market, fully-scalable and capable of handling all their needs.”
On top of that, it also boasts audio synchronisation capabilities that eliminate audio delay as well as an intuitive standalone app for when third-party control isn’t available.
“MoIP Audio is convenient to set up and easy to use,” Andras adds.
“Dealers finally have a way to distribute both A/V and multiroom audio over a single system. And better yet, it does it all over the network. And when using MoIP Audio with a control system, users get an easy and familiar way to control their sound system, which increases customer satisfaction.”
