September release for 8K TV in Australia
TCL Electronics’ new X10 8K QLED TV will be available in Australia from September, following its unveiling at the CES convention in Las Vegas in January.
The X10 is the company’s first ever 8K TV and it has already won the 8K TV Gold Award of the Year at the USA event.

The X10 offers 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV and four times more than a 4K TV, using TCL’s latest Quantum Dot display technology. It plays in full screen, features a built-in sound bar tuned by Onkyo and Dolby Atmos audio, as well as AI-IN, artificial intelligence which allows viewers to control compatible devices around the home by speaking into the voice controlled remote, via Google Assistant and Alexa.
TCL Australia general manager Mark Zhang says that 8K is a big topic of conversation in the tech world, saying his company was driven to deliver the latest innovative TV experience to customers.
“The introduction of our AI-IN system will turn a TCL television into the heart of the home, with the goal to make lives more intelligent for our customers, paired with an ultimate visual and audio feast.”
