Sennheiser releases firmware 1.3.8 to enhance TeamConnect Bar performance and features
Sennheiser has released a firmware update 1.3.8 for its TeamConnect (TC) Bar solutions, improving camera performance, Dante audio outputs, network reliability, security and energy efficiency.
The TC Bar S features four microphones and two speakers, while the TC Bar M has six microphones and four speakers. Both are certified for Microsoft Teams and offer brand-agnostic integration, easy setup and management, high video quality and Sennheiser audio reliability.

The update reduces frame movement in the TC Bar’s 4K AI-enhanced camera, delivering smoother, more natural video for features like person tiling and auto-framing. An added default camera mode ensures consistent behaviour, while temporary in-call adjustments remain possible via remote.
For audio, users can connect external speakers via Dante, which also supports continuous streaming through Sennheiser’s MobileConnect solution. The update improves standby wake-up times with optimised energy settings and an optional “Always On” mode.
Network reliability has been enhanced for complex setups, including split-mode environments. The update also ensures full compliance with current security and regulatory standards, improving overall user experience in meeting and collaboration spaces.
