Sennheiser announces new software update at ISE 2019

Audio company Sennheiser has revealed a software update for its free AV management ‘control cockpit’ systems at ISE 2019. The systems are for the remote control, maintenance and monitoring of wireless microphone systems and the new range will be available toward the end of February. The recent version 3.0.0 is an expansion of the software and supports the soon-to-be released TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone. The G3 and G4 IEM transmitters will also be supported by the software. The software will also allow additional settings for G3 and G4 microphones.

The control cockpit enables ease of workflow for wireless microphones. Push messages are available for features including battery usage. The software also detects possible issues, allowing the remote check of problems in campus-style installations.

Battery management is a breeze for the IT manager – either they can filter for low batteries or activate push messages to their (mobile) devices. The software also helps in the identification of potential issues that an end user may encounter, enabling IT staff to remotely check the operating status of each microphone on the campus or in a company.
