Savant has refined its Partners in Excellence program which aims to give integrators and their clients a large selection of devices for their smart home ecosystem. Upgrading the program adds three tiers for Savant supported manufacturers: Savant Recommended, Certified and Supported.

Savant Recommended partners, the highest tier, are the best-in-class solutions and are all tested by Savant’s engineering team for additional performance testing. Recommended class products will be available to purchase through the Savant store with brands like Apple, Harman and Netgear already classifying.

Supported and Certified-level products will be tested to ensure integration between the products and Savant’s smart home platform.

“As the control and automation landscape has continued to evolve, integration with third party devices has increased in magnitude and complexity with the onslaught of new entrants in the mainstream IoT market,” Savant vice-president George Katsiris says.

“Part of the emphasis with our Partners in Excellence Program is to direct integrators toward the highest quality solutions. Our objective is to select and highlight the best industry partners that are committed to providing end-users with the most reliable smart home experience.”
