Savant, which is distributed by Avation, has announced its smart home ecosystem is now compatible with the Google Home Assistant speech-recognition engine.

This integration enables users to activate Savant Scenes to control any and all of their smart home features with a single voice command, including adjusting entertainment, lighting, climate controls, TVs, shading and more. Interfacing with Savant’s scene engine, which captures personalised automation events, consumers are able to initiate, schedule, edit or delete a Savant Scene while retaining seamless Google functionality.

Users simply create a Savant Scene, enable the Savant Action with the Google Assistant or Google Home app and link their account. Google will then discover Savant as an Action that can be accessed via voice command.

Savant’s Google interface is based on cloud-to-cloud communication between the two services, leveraging the power of Savant’s robust, secure, redundant cloud infrastructure.
