RTI now supports inter-system connectivity

Chowmain Software has released a system-to-system driver for RTI that will enable communications across multiple RTI systems.

This enables RTI to be used in multi-dwelling units, hotels, and other similar installations that have shared areas across multiple systems. The shared areas would be controlled by a separate processor running its own project where individual rooms / apartments have individual projects that would communicate to the shared area processor for common security, lighting, access control, etc.

The driver allows you to send booleans, integers or strings to the remote processor by using local functions. On the remote processor, the matching system-to-system driver will expose those as variables.

You can also trigger events from the boolean variables you define.
