RTI has released a two-way driver for MuxLab’s ProDigital series of AV over IP products. The new driver allows integrators to easily incorporate MuxLab AV devices into RTI automation and control systems, providing powerful yet simple video control for commercial and residential applications.

“Signal distribution and device management for large video installations can be very challenging,” says RTI vice president of sales and marketing Mike Everett.

“Our new MuxLab driver substantially reduces the complexity and allows our dealers to integrate MuxLab AV over IP systems into an RTI control system. The result is a fantastic user experience no matter how massive the installation — even up to 64 x 128 videowalls.”

Developed by RTI through MuxLab’s partner program, the two-way driver allows direct access and control of MuxLab’s ProDigital Network Controller (model 500811) and input/output extenders as well as the company’s line of video switchers through RTI’s portfolio of user interfaces. The RTI driver for the MuxLab AV over IP line of extenders, which support up to 4K resolution, allows for control of up to 128 output devices, 64 input devices, and 128 videowall configurations and presets via IP. For video switchers, the driver enables switching of four, eight, or 16 inputs and outputs via RS-232 or IP.

“RTI is well-known for its powerful system control and automation solutions, and with this new driver, the company’s intuitive user interfaces enable unprecedented access and control for our extremely popular pro AV and AV over IP devices,” says MuxLab president Daniel Assaraf.

“From any RTI user interface or smart device, users tap their source to assign and distribute content to any display in the video installation, from large videowall cascades to zoned residential setups.”

The MuxLab two-way driver is available at no cost to RTI dealers on the company’s website at www.rticorp.com in the Driver Store.
