PPDS has unveiled the Philips Signage 5000 Series (D-Line), delivering six trillion operations per second with AI-ready processing.

Designed for 24/7 reliability across retail, corporate, transportation, education and public venues, the series builds on the popular Philips 4650 line with enhanced UHD visuals, energy efficiency and an octa-core processor paired with a six TOPS neural processing unit for seamless AI applications.

Available in sizes from 32” to 98”, the 5000 Series supports portrait and landscape orientations and features FailOver technology to automatically switch to backup content in case of media player failure, ensuring screens stay on in high-demand locations like airports and train stations.

Running on Android 14, the displays support native apps, web apps and remote management via the Philips Wave ecosystem, allowing fleet-wide control, content scheduling and firmware updates.

The displays also have lower power consumption, a modular design for extended lifetimes and broad connectivity options including HDMI, DP, USB-C, RS232 and LAN.
