Chowmainsoft has released a Q-SYS-verified Blustream smart power management plugin, designed to enable reliable efficient distribution, monitoring and control in AV and automation setups.

The PWR4IEC and PWR8IEC are rack-mountable power distribution units with four and eight independently switchable IEC outputs, providing surge protection, real-time monitoring and scheduling features for connected devices. These units are ideal for AV installations where centralised power control and reliability are critical.

The PWR8VDC is an eight-output DC power distribution unit tailored for low-voltage devices like networking gear and media players. Each output supports adjustable voltage to offset losses over long cable runs, while individually switched USB ports allow flexible powering and control of USB-based devices. This makes the PWR8VDC a versatile solution for complex, multi-device installations.
