Neumann launches five DSP-powered subwoofers in KH Series
Neumann has launched five DSP-powered subwoofers in its KH series: KH 805 II, KH 810 II, KH 870 II and the Audio-over-IP models KH 810 II AES67 and KH 870 II AES67.
The KH 805 II doubles the output of the KH 750 DSP, making it ideal for stereo setups with KH 120 II, KH 150 or KH 310 monitors. The KH 810 II adds multichannel bass management for up to 7.1.4 systems, while the KH 870 II doubles its output for large rooms and KH 420 monitors. The KH 810 II AES67 and KH 870 II AES67 support 12 AES67 channels and comply with ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, RAVENNA, NMOS and DANTE.

“With immersive audio becoming the new standard across music, post-production and broadcast, reliable monitoring is more important than ever,” Neumann chief executive Yasmine Riechers says.
“The KH subwoofers offer scalable solutions for every studio size and format, from stereo to surround and immersive, while integrating seamlessly with both analog and DSP-equipped KH monitors.”
All models feature Neumann’s DSP engine for integration with the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system, ensuring room correction and phase coherence across both analog and DSP-equipped KH monitors. With extension down to 16Hz, they provide clarity and control for mixing and mastering.
“The subwoofers offer significant advancements over their predecessors, with dramatically reduced distortion and port noise,” Neumann head of product Stephan Mauer says.
“They can be combined with both analog and DSP-controlled KH Line monitors, making them ideal for upgrading a stereo system or expanding into immersive setups. They also offer precise room alignment via MA 1 of the entire system.”
With these additions, the KH series ranges from the compact KH 750 DSP to the high-output KH 870 II, covering monitoring needs from stereo to immersive audio across music, broadcast and post-production.
