NEC Australia has released the new NEC Xtreme LED screen following what it says was increased demand for a new option in the market.

The new product ranges in pixel pitch from 1mm to 4mm, offers 170° viewing angle, low screen reflection and touch interaction capability. It also has greater shock resistance and is splash proof, with a short lead-time of approximately four weeks.

It can be wall mounted, suspended or floor standing.

One key feature of the new series is the ability to upgrade display resolutions with the simple change of a pixel tile.

NEC product manager Chris McCullough says: “Its strength is in its versatility – if you want to upgrade down the track with finer pitch or a greater resolution for instance, the NEX Xtreme LED series allows you that flexibility at a time that suits you and your business. All you have to do is swap out the tiles.”

The Xtreme series LED is now available to purchase via NEC’s Channel Partner and Distribution network.
