McIntosh, distributed by Synergy Audio Visual, has released the MIP200 Power Controller, a solution designed for protecting an audio investment from unexpected electrical issues.

Ensuring audio components remain unscathed by power disturbances such as surges from a lightning strike, overvoltage incidents and brownouts, the MIP200 is designed to accommodate various global power standards.

The solution is available with either four Type B (NEMA 5-15R) outlets with two receptacles each (above) or four Type F (CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) outlets with one receptacle each (below).

The key highlights of the power controller include AC power line surge protection, electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering, programmable over/under voltage protection, accommodating various global power standards, 2U rack-mountable and perfect for DIY enthusiasts or custom install applications.
