McIntosh’s new interconnectivity cable solutions are available in the following lengths and configurations: 1M Balanced Audio Cable, 2M Balanced Audio Cable, Audio Cable Pair, 1M Digital Audio Cable, 2M Digital Audio Cable, 1M Control Cable, 2M Control Cable, as well as a 2M Speaker Cable, and 3M Speaker Cable.

McIntosh president Charlie Randall says, “McIntosh engineers work tirelessly to ensure that all of our products deliver a music listening experience that is bar none. With McIntosh’s newly patented “Output Connector” amplifier binding post technology, our interconnect cables have been engineered to enhance the performance of our systems.”

All McIntosh Cables use PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting). This single crystal copper – the purest and most refined copper available – is cast with a directional bias for ideal conductivity and performance. Additionally, McIntosh speaker cables use 9 gage pure copper conductors, incased in a rugged cable sheath which allows for unlimited power transfer from the amplifier to the speakers. Finally, specially designed, heavy duty, gold-plated spade connectors perfectly match the new Output Connector binding posts.

Pure McIntosh performance also requires connectivity solutions that offer the highest signal to noise cables possible. That’s why unlike conventional “RCA-type” cables, McIntosh’s Balanced cables (for use between source components, preamplifiers and amplifiers) employ the most sophisticated dual shielding, twisted pair construction and a fourth separate chassis ground wire outside of the signal conductors and dual shields.
