Lumagen delivers the Radiance Pro 4140 video processor
Lumagen, distributed by Cogworks, has delivered the Radiance Pro 4140 video processor, the latest addition to its series of video processors with a more affordable price option.
The Radiance Pro video processors are custom-designed, commercial-grade products manufactured in the United States. Lumagen offers free firmware updates and customer support aiming to provide long-term value and video quality for home cinema setups.

“We are excited about the launch of this new Lumagen video processor. The new 4140 will open standalone video processors with all their benefits to more customers. Stock will start shipping in early October,” Cogworks general manager David Lowton says.
The Radiance Pro 4140 includes a single 18G input and 9G output within a compact case design, maintaining the same video processing quality as other models in the Radiance Pro series. The single HDMI configuration is designed to meet the needs of entry-level home cinema systems.
The Radiance Pro series, including the 4140, utilises Lumagen’s proprietary video processing algorithms. These algorithms are designed to improve video quality on front projectors, flat panel displays and LED video walls.
All Radiance Pro models share the same video feature set, which includes HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping, scaling for in-motion video, instant-auto-aspect ratio detection and various customisation options. The processors support 4K60 inputs and outputs, are compatible with HDCP 2.3, HDR10 and HLG and work with Dolby LLDV sources.
The Radiance Pro 5244 and 5348 models include HDMI de-jitter circuitry, which aims to reduce HDMI clock jitter and improve audio quality at the processor’s input.
