Logitech has introduced the Rally Camera Streamline Kit which includes a USB pan tilt zoom (PTZ) video solution.

The Rally Camera allows for easy switching between trouble shooting, installation and preset camera views.

Users can switch preset PTZ views on the camera using accessible buttons to simplify the setup for AV teams to eliminate training for users.

The Rally Camera and Extension Kit comprises on a camera side base that can be connected and powered up to 100m away through a category cable to a control box that interfaces directly with USB-based AV equipment.

It offers mounting options for the wall, inverted National Pipe Thread (NPT) mounting and tripods to add discrete cable routing.

“PTZ cameras with speaker tracking for lecture capture are often overly complex and expensive, adding unnecessary hardware to standard USB AV setups while creating unpredictable and distracting user experiences,” Logitech for Education vice president and general manager Michele Hermann says.
