Legrand’s wireless chargers win award at the 2018 Good Design Awards
Legrand has announced that its wireless charging solutions have received a Good Design Award in the Product Design category at the 2018 Good Design Awards. Held at Sydney’s Opera House on 17 May, Australia’s annual Good Design Ceremony promotes the importance of design to business, industry, government and the general public.
This year’s Good Design Awards received 536 entries, with 260 projects selected to receive the Good Design Award.
The Legrand wireless charging range, which enables Qi-certified mobile devices to be charged without cables, was recognised as being a functional, low cost solution to wireless charging.

Available in three options – wall-mounted, built-in to table tops and weatherproof – the chargers adapt to a range of environments from residential to commercial places, such hotels, airports or train stations.
“With consumer demand for wireless solutions across connected devices such as smart phones and tablets, this is the right product at the right time. The design team nailed the brief to develop an integrated solution that will blend seamlessly into any modern home/office environment,” says the Good Design Awards jury.
