Kramer Electronics has released the VP-440X, a high−performance 18G 4K HDR presentation switcher/scaler with four HDMI inputs and one computer graphics (VGA) input.

The VP-440X builds on its predecessor (VP-440), delivering a fully-featured 4K@60Hz switcher/scaler in a compact form factor ideal for classroom setups. Loaded with value and versatility, the VP-440X offers HDMI and HDBaseT simultaneous display and advanced scaling technology for easy plug-and-play operation.

It distributes video up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling up to 40m and 1080p up to 70m and has flexible controls through front-panels, RS-232, web pages and contact closure switches.

The latest device is easy to install and operate with a plug-and-play design and compact size; it also seamlessly integrates into a wide variety of installations, giving user’s peace of mind. The compact size enables mounting in a 1U rack space with the recommended rack adapter.
