Kramer releases the VS-44H2 matrix switcher
Kramer Electronics has released the VS-44H2 4K 4×4 matrix switcher for small presentation environments.
The latest device can reclock (with Kramer re-Klocking technology) and equalise the signals and can route any one of four HDMI, HDCP-compliant sources to any or all outputs at the same time.
It also features individual EDID management per input, captures and stores the EDID from a display device as well as flexible content protection with a selectable HDCP per input.
Integrators can save up to eight preset configurations for a quicker access to common configurations and an intuitive UI can fully automate the meeting room elements like lights, shades, devices and more. All this is controlled through an extensive range of triggers including scheduling, input/output connectivity, routing and button passing.
It’s also cost-effective to maintain with indicators facilitating easy troubleshooting and firmware upgrades through Ethernet. A 19” enclosure for rack mounting in a 1U rack space with included rack ears and universal 100 to 240V AC power supply makes for an easy install.
