Kordz returns to Integrate, releases more high-quality cables
Kordz, the cabling company that was founded to provide commercial AV integration, residential, home-theatre and networking industries with professional-grade connectivity solutions, returns to Integrate.
Connected magazine visited the stand to find out what the latest and greatest was on display. Speaking with Kordz Australia technical sales and marketing support, Joshua Yammouni, he says the company recently released the new 8K HDMI cabling that boasts passive and active optical technology all the way up to 20m.

“Look, I see 8K resolutions eventually being used in cinemas but I think first and foremost, it’s going to be used in a lot of gaming and event-related content,” he says.
“The gaming and next-gen side is kind of ahead of the industry at the moment and I believe these cables will really help push the envelope there to start and then eventually for high-end cinemas. Really fun stuff.”
Josh also spoke about the unbreakable latch on the Kordz patch leads. The latch is extremely flexible and with an ultra-thin head it can bend right around any corner the user might need it to without snagging or breaking., and it comes in Cat6 and Cat6A versions as well.
And as always with the Kordz products, all are individually tested to ensure the product is ready for the job.
“We also provide the Fluke test report for every individually Cat6A patch lead,” Josh says.
“On every Cat6A patch lead, there’s a QR code that you can scan to download the report of each individual cable. If you lose the bag or the QR code for whatever reason, there’s a laser-etched serial number on the jacket of the cable about 25cm in on one of the ends and if you search that code on our website, you can download the report there.”
