Klipsch debuts flagship Reference Premiere Dolby Atmos and WiSA-enabled wireless home theatre speakers
Dolby Atmos makes sound come alive from all directions, including overhead, to fill the home theatre with astonishing clarity, power, detail, and depth. Klipsch speakers have been preferred by many movie theatre installations supporting Dolby Atmos given their high-efficiency, low distortion and controlled directivity. Klipsch is bringing this ground-breaking achievement and its advanced cinema expertise to the home theatre environment.
The WiSA-enabled Reference Premiere system showcases a wireless high resolution, interoperable, multi-channel audio system, which eliminates the need for a traditional A/V receiver. As a Wireless Speaker and Audio WiSA Association member, Klipsch supports the association in promoting the broad adoption of WiSA product interoperability.

The wireless system consists of tower speakers RP-440WF, monitor speakers RP-140WM and a centre channel speaker RP-440WC that features a two-way design and utilises the same driver and horn technology as the brand’s debuting Reference Premiere series. The system’s RP-110WSW subwoofer is also modelled directly after the new Reference Premiere RP-110SW subwoofer, but offers the added convenience of WiSA wireless connectivity.
The “brain” of the wireless Klipsch system is the RP-HUB1 smart distribution hub that allows for simple connection to up to 4HDMI equipped devices, digital optical, analogue and Bluetooth wireless technology, including the high resolution aptX codec. The hub processes multi-channel inputs and distributes them wirelessly with transmission of up to 24 bit/96kHz. The system is also expandable over time, allowing configurations from 2.0 all the way to 7.2 channels.
Each individually-powered speaker enables Klipsch engineers to control the signal path all the way from the source to the speaker, representing the most efficient way to extract every ounce of performance out of each speaker.
The Reference Premiere line will be available for purchase from main audio specialist dealers later this year.
