Jands announces the end of its distribution partnership with PR Lighting

Jands has announced further results of the strategic review of its business, stating it will no longer represent PR Lighting in Australia, effective as of 1 March 2018.

“Jands has always sought to minimise the level of crossover in our product portfolio and deliver a high level of focus for both our customers and our distribution partners. The increasing overlap of PR Lighting with other product lines we carry has meant that we need to reluctantly end our association with the PR Lighting brand at this time,” says Jands lighting sales manager Tim Kennard.

Jands strategic review was performed throughout 2017 with the aim of developing a strategy to see the company positioned for future growth.

The first phase lead to an internal re-structure of the Jands business to align the company’s strengths to the brands represented. This was also done to improve the support offered to the markets Jands operates in.

Jands will continue to support current owners of PR Lighting and access to service and spare parts for PR products sold by Jands in the Australian market will be available until March 2019.
