REL Acoustics, distributed in Australia by Synergy Audio, has announced its 212/SX speakers. Building upon the 212/SE, the latest offering is faster, better controlled and quieter, giving users more explosive and dynamic sound quality.

Arriving in July/August this year, the 212/SX is available for preorder today.

REL engineers have implemented the PerfectFilter of the latest Serie S which extends and flattens the extremely low ball as well as optimising the extreme upper bass transitions into air and holographic detail in the speaker’s soundstage.

The 212/SX has a maximum power output of 800W and 80dB gain control range through its 300mm long-throw, die cast aluminium chassis.

A crisper design makes it slimmer, deeper and taller for finer control in the backwave within the cabinet. Simply speaking, the REL speaker has stretched the performance and design envelope of the 212 range, taking advantage of the latest technologies and craftsmanship for finer, more beautiful and better sounding confers.
