Ingram Micro has partnered with Australian HP brand Poly to provide more options for resellers in the fast-growing hybrid and remote working space and complements Ingram Micro’s AV portfolio.

With approximately 34% of Australians now having a hybrid work arrangement with their employer and more than 50% of Australian companies offering a hybrid work option, Poly, formerly Plantronics and Polycom, brings industry-leading video conferencing solutions, cameras, headsets, voice and software to Ingram Micro, allowing customers to create meeting equality between those in the room and those who are remote.

“With a large proportion of Australian workers now operating out of a home office some of the time, workplaces are looking for solutions to bring teams together through online environments,” ANZ Ingram Micro senior vice president and chief commercial officer Tim Ament says.

“Poly brings its strengths in hardware, software and AI for workplace collaboration to resellers who will be able to offer modern workplace collaboration tools to their customers.”

The addition of Poly to Ingram Micro’s portfolio further bolsters Ingram Micro’s long-standing relationship with HP, which was underscored by Ingram Micro being awarded HP’s Hardware Distributor of the Year in 2022.

Ingram Micro’s alliance with Poly encompasses existing relationships in the North America and EMEA markets, with the Australian partnership beginning in November 2023.
