HDBaseT Alliance releases two white papers
The HDBaseT Alliance has released two new whitepapers, designed to help professionals advance their HDBaseT knowledge and optimise their overall installation business.
The first white paper is titled ‘HDBaseT Residential Installation Trends’, which outlines latest influences on residential AV installations including OTT streaming services, state-of-the-art gaming, and more demanding video sources.

It will help to gain a clearer picture of where AV performance, distribution, control, and cable infrastructure are heading, to maximise interoperability, reliability, and future-focused upgrade paths.
The second publication is ‘Optimising Cabling for HDBaseT 3.0’ which helps installers to avoid hitting snags in their next installation by providing an in-depth look into cable and infrastructure standards, shielding, termination, testing and more.
It focuses on how to maximise the performance of HDBaseT 1.0 and 2.0 installations, as well as recognise the full bandwidth capabilities of the latest 3.0 specification.
Both white papers are available now for download.
