Hall Research releases the VERSA-4K
The latest addition to the Hall Research AV-over-IP product line, the VERSA-4K has been released. It extends multiple 4K HDMI video and USB data to an unlimited number of receivers on a simple Gigabit network.
It extends Bidirectional IR, RS-232 and auxiliary audio and features low latency, video wall mode, image rotation and flipping, IR, CEC and Serial-over-IP for control of third party devices. It also offers automatic KVM switching, Telnet and Web GUI control, USB Device Class Filterin and PoE support.

The sender/receiver accept any HDMI resolution including 4K, 60Hz with HDCP 2.2 and it includes an HDMI video loop output plus extracted HDMI audio in stereo format. The receiver/decoder provides an HDMI output with extracted HDMI audio, bidirectional IR, RS-232 and four USB ports.
For a one-to-one setup, no external network equipment is needed, just a Cat6 cable up to 120m between the two ends. A dedicated gigabit network switch is recommended in a many-to-many setup.
The VERSA-4K also comes with a power supply but if using PoE, the power adapter isn’t required.
For easy setup and configuration, free PC GUI is available with many advanced features. The VERSA-4K is ideal for applications such as interactive digital signage, KVM extension, virtual matrix switching and USB over LAN extension.
