Extron has announced the immediate availability of two new presentation switchers, the IN1806 and IN1808 Series.

Both switchers feature 18Gbps support and 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 video scaling, as well as the Extron-exclusive Vector 4K scaling engine with 30-bit internal video processing for best-in-class image up-scaling and downscaling.

They also include Extron ProDSP audio processing, seamless video transition effects and logo keying, as well as a mix of DisplayPort and HDMI inputs along with simultaneous HDMI and DTP2 twisted pair outputs. The IN1808 models have two additional DTP2 inputs for enhanced design flexibility and are available with an integrated 100W stereo or mono power amplifier and built-in IPCP Pro control processor.

DTP2 connections enable signal extension of video, audio and control signals up to 100m over a shielded CATx cable.

The switchers are idea for use in meeting rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, and collaboration environments.
