Extron adds USB-C switching encoder to NAV Pro AV over IP platform
Extron has released the NAV E 222, a switching encoder featuring both USB-C and HDMI inputs, expanding the company’s NAV Pro AV over IP Series.
The NAV E 222 introduces versatile auto or manual input switching and can power connected USB-C devices with up to 100W using the optional UPI 100 Power Inserter. It also supports the AES67 audio-over-IP standard, enabling integration with Extron DMP Plus DSPs and other networked audio components.

Built for professional AV applications, the NAV platform delivers real-time, lossless video streaming up to 4K/60 with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and ultra-low latency. The series supports both 1Gbps and 10Gbps encoders and decoders, ensuring full interoperability across systems.
