Epson releases ultra-short-throw 4K laser projector
Epson has released the EH-LS670B, an ultra-short-throw 4K laser projector for home entertainment.
The projector can produce an image up to 120” from just a few centimetres away and features Epson’s 4K PRO-UHD processing with HDR10, a claimed dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and 3,600 lumens. It uses Epson’s three-chip 3LCD system to maintain brightness and colour accuracy.

Audio is delivered through a built-in Bose system with four sound modes tailored for different types of content.
The EH-LS670B includes Google TV and supports major streaming services. It comes with WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and multiple HDMI ports for easy integration into an existing setup. Gaming features include Auto Low Latency Mode for more responsive play.
The unit can be set up using Epson’s Setting Assistant app, which uses a phone camera to automatically correct projection distortion. The projector has a minimalist design intended to blend into modern living spaces.
Epson says the AI-driven picture features, including Dynamic Colour Booster and AIPQ scene correction, are designed to improve contrast, reduce banding and deliver more vivid visuals.
