Da-Lite has released the Q-SYS plugin integration for the Da-Lite Screen Controller.

Da-Lite worked alongside Q-SYS, a clous manageable audio, video and control platform, and have fully vetted and endorsed the plugin integrations with a Q-SYS certified badge.

The control plugin integrates the control of a screen through TCP/IP or RS232 connection to the Da-Lite screen controller. The screen controller is an accessory for Da-Lite motorised projection screens with integrated low voltage control or an external low voltage control.

“We are committed to simplifying setup and operation as part of a great experience,” Da-Lite director – product management Wendy Cox says.

“With this latest plugin, we have enabled Q-SYS integration as part of our motorised screen offering, making it much easier to program and control Da-Lite screens within the Q-SYS Platform.”

The screen controller interface box supplied all control configuration integrators and is powered by PoE which required a connection to an Ethernet switch that provides PoE+ power with a minimum of 30W.

It’s compatible with the Vaddio deployment tool which scans the network for Vaddio and Da-Lite devices. The tool lists the devices by model and IP address, identifies all devices that aren’t set up and provides the controls to complete the initial device set up. It will also provide links to each device’s web interface.

“We are proud of our collaboration with Da-Lite to create a plugin integration that will enable elevated experiences across our shared customers,” Q-SYS principle – alliance and ecosystem Geno Zaharie says.
