Control4 has announced the availability of six new models of Triad R Series round in-ceiling speakers. Designed for dealers, builders, architects, and homeowners, they allow a variety of configuration and installation options.

“With the growth of the connected home and demand for music everywhere, customers want to play high-quality audio throughout the home,” says Control4 vice president of product management Paul Williams.

“And, more often than not, the homeowner wants the speakers to blend into the décor. Triad R Series provides low-profile, in-ceiling speakers for a wide range of budgets, applications, and room sizes with an acoustic signature that delivers the sound quality our customers have come to know and love.”

The new range includes:

Triad R06 Speaker

These have been designed to give builders, contractors, and homeowners an affordable whole-home audio option without sacrificing audio quality. The R06 speakers feature a 16.5cm polypropylene woofer and a 1cm aimable, cloth dome tweeter which gives flexibility with installation.

Triad R10 Series Speakers

The four new models in the R10 Series offer the refined musical quality of Triad speakers. Each model is built around reinforced poly-mica woofers and are available in 13cm (R15), 16.5cm (R16), and 21.5cm (R18). The models allow homeowners to mix and match speakers to meet the needs of each room while providing identical tonal qualities. Each model also features an aimable Teteron dome tweeter delivering full sound and varying installation options. The R18DT features a 25cm woofer and dual aimable tweeters for smaller rooms.

Triad R28DT Speaker

The Triad R20 Series speakers are engineered for music enthusiasts looking for exceptional sound in every room. The series uses components like carbon fibre woofers for tight, deep bass and 2.5cm aimable silk dome tweeters. Existing models in the R20 Series include the R25 with 13cm woofer, the R26 with 16.5cm woofer and R28 featuring an 21.5cm woofer. Joining the R20 Series is the R28DT, which uses a 22.5cm woofer and dual tweeters, ideal for tight spaces.

All R Series models feature a magnetic micro-frame round grill and optional square grill, for a low-profile design that suits any décor. The grills are available in white, and all Triad speakers are available with custom paint matching for discreet installations.

The new Triad R Series speaker models are available today from Control4 and Triad dealers worldwide, and include a 10-year warranty.
