Award winners announced at Australian conference

Each year global provider of smart home solutions Control4 awards six dealers for outstanding projects across home, lighting, commercial and other categories at its annual dealer conference in Australia.

The new Best Innovation award was given to Crown Electrical Solution and Life Style Store won awards in two categories, for Best Smart Lighting Project and Best Theatre.

There were also winners of Best Whole-Home Projects; Argus Technologies Solutions Pty Ltd won for a project over $100,000 and Broadway Installations won for its installation under $100,000. The Best Commercial Project award was given to Purpose Group.

There were three runners-up for Best Smart Lighting Project, Best Theatre and Best Whole-Home Project Under $100,000, awarded to BLUTEK, Digital Picture and Coffs Coast Audio, respectively.

“The Control4 team always looks forward to reviewing the projects that our dealers have done throughout the year, and we’re always impressed. This year, we gave away the most awards in Australia yet,” said Control4 senior vice president of worldwide sales Bryce Judd.

“We also named a few runners-up across the Smart Lighting, Best Theatre and Whole-Home Project categories, because it was a challenge to choose among all of the great work that was submitted by our dealers.”

No two projects are alike, and each category was created to award dealers for installing superb systems of all shapes and sizes in homes and a retail location.

Winning installations included amazing custom home theatres to businesses and everything between, featuring custom LED lighting, projection and video control, smart lighting scenes, temperature control and much more.
