Cleerline has released its SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G fibre to PoE+ Ethernet switch, a tool for connectivity between a fibre network infrastructure and Ethernet-based PoE+ endpoint devices in any zone.

The SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G is a 100/1000Base-X to gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T non managed PoE switch. The provided SFP slot allows both gigabit and fast Ethernet operation and can accept all SFP types including multimode, single-mode, CWDM, DWDM or BiDi.

“This new highly stable switch from Cleerline facilitates fast and reliable connectivity between a Cleerline fibre network and Ethernet-equipped PoE endpoint devices,” Cleerline managing partner Rick Sant says.

“To accommodate every application, the SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G emits minimal heat and features a slimline housing with built in mounting brackets, simplifying installation in confined areas such as behind a flat panel display or within a small equipment cabinet.”

Cleerline’s compact switch provides four RJ45 PoE+ ports that automatically determine PoE+ requirements such as speed, duplex and cable type using Auto Uplink, making this switch a critical tool for residential and commercial integrators.

The device features four 10/100/1000mbps RJ45 PoE ports and one 1,000MBps SFP uplink port. It’s compatible with IEEE802.3AF/AT standards, allowing it to power devices over Ethernet cables.

The device is powered by a DC 48-52V 1.25A power adapter. All ports support auto-negotiation and auto-MDIX/MDIX-cross. Each PoE+ port can deliver up to 30W of power, while each PoE port can provide up to 15W.
